In March this year, a sudden outburst of COVID-19 pandemic interrupted people in Shanghai., and the entire city went into lockdown. Regeon Electric switched to a special operating mode, with employees working from home and the company turning to closed-loop management. Most employees returned home and took the newly-established positions. In response to the call of the Party branch and the government, Regeon Electric undertook social responsibilities and encouraged employees to join the volunteer team to fight the pandemic.

Regeon Electric's party members, cadres and masses actively participated in their communities for pandemic prevention, including going on patrols during the lockdown, guiding others to do the nucleic acid testing, purchasing daily supplies, notifying community residents thought radio, distributing goods and materials, etc. By standing in the frontline of the pandemic, they show their respective responsibilities and courage.

On another frontline, colleagues from the Intelligent Manufacturing Department volunteered to work as nucleic acid samplers during the lockdown of the company's campus. The industrious colleagues from the Logistics Department, like unsung heroes, looked for urgent procurement channels and coordinated kinds of resources to ensure a normal life of the on-site workers so that the material supplies were guaranteed for the close-looped employees, and Regeon Electric to be safe and sound.

Cui Jianhua, General Manager of Regeon Electric, granted honors and rewards to the anti-pandemic volunteers. He said that the volunteers fought on the front line of pandemic prevention and control, guarding the community residents in spite of the danger and hard works. They guard each community and assist the residents with full enthusiasm in the emergency transfer, unloading, and distribution of daily supplies, emergency response, nucleic acid test information collection and input, order maintenance, environmental disinfection, and cooperation with medical staff for their nucleic acid testing door to door, epidemiological information, etc. They have made extraordinary contributions to the company, the communities and the city with their actions.

Fang Yu, the representative of Regeon Electric volunteer team, came on stage to deliver her speech. She said that as a party member, she received the call from the organization and joined to the volunteer team as quickly as possible, feeling very excited and honored to contribute her strength in fighting the pandemic. She worked with other volunteers to carry goods, distribute supplies and assist with nucleic acid tests. She deeply appreciated the hard work of the volunteers, and feeling grateful about her colleagues and community members for their understanding and support.

When the pandemic broke out, the production of the company was also greatly affected. Regeon Electric decided to resolutely respond to the call of the party and the government. While actively fighting the battle of COVID-19, it tried every means to ensure the timely production of materials needed for major national projects.

Xu Ying, chairman of Regeon Electric, granted honors and rewards to 49 advanced individuals. She said that with the strong support of the government, the company has opened a home-based working mode: those available employees worked at home but collaborated with each other closely, and completed its work with quality and quantity with the help of advanced information technology. But the product can only be produced and the utility can only be brought out in the workshop. This requires some of our employees in key positions to share the burdens by leaving their loved ones and familiar environment to enter the closed loop of the workshop and meeting the customers face to face.

Only in hard times can courage and perseverance be manifested. At this critical moment, the company's 49 employees are dedicated and responsible, and with the spirit of “take one for the team”, they overcame many difficulties, resolutely entered the closed loop, united to fight the pandemic, and went all out to maintain the production. In the face of the unusual environment, the employees managed to keep the prevention and control from slackening, production from interrupting, standard from lowering, and motivation from reducing. Over 70 days of hardworking, they successfully completed the tasks from the company, guaranteed the implementation of major national projects with various touching scenes. In order to ensure that the progress of the project is not delayed, employees went on business trips and stick to the project site for days. The customers were impressed by their full enthusiasm, high senses of mission and cooperation. Even when the pandemic came over and over again, some with brave and loyal spirits went to the project site in advance, kept in quarantine in accordance to local policies so as to buy more time for the project. At the moment when the anti-pandemic has achieved phased results, Regeon Electric would like to extend our sincere greetings and high respect to you all! And thanks to all the family members who have been making contributions behind the scenes!

Regeon Electric advanced working representative, Zhong Huaying went on stage to deliver a speech. She said, in the face of the sudden lockdown, and with the help of the company, the staff stuck to the post in the plant dedicated themselves to works even in difficult conditions. She expressed her appreciation of the company's support and everyone's hard work.

After the commendation session, Xu Ying, chairman of Regeon Electric, made a speech on the company's resumption of work and production. She said that while Shanghai has entered a new stage of normalized pandemic prevention and control, we should strictly implement pandemic prevention and control, actively resume work and production, and reach production targets as soon as possible on the premise of ensuring safety.
