The PMC pitch system accurately and quickly controls the windward angle of the wind turbine blades, effectively adjusts the wind energy captured by the wind turbine, and also ensures the safety of the wind turbine. It is one of the core subsystems of the wind turbine. The system can also control the angle of the tidal and ocean current generator blades through its special design, so as to regulate the generated power.

The pitch system refers to a device that changes the aerodynamic characteristics of the blades on the hub of the unit by changing the pitch angle of the blades. It consists of a control device and a drive device. It adjusts the pitch angle at any time according to the change of wind speed at the rated and above wind speed, controls the mechanical energy absorbed by the blades, ensures that the wind turbine obtains the required energy, reduces the impact of wind on the unit, and realizes rapid and impact-free grid connection. The pitch control worked with the variable-speed constant-frequency technology so as to improve the power generation efficiency and power quality of the entire wind power generation system.



  • · Reliability: the pitch system can meet all kinds of strict working environment, meet the operation requirements of normal temperature, low temperature and offshore models, and can make special customized design according to the actual operation environment; AC permanent magnet synchronous motor is adopted, which has the advantages of low maintenance cost, high reliability, long service life and compact structure. It can provide the same constant torque speed regulation range as DC motor, which is suitable for applications in harsh environments. At the same time, it meets the requirements of low voltage ride through (LVRT) and high voltage ride through (hvrt) to ensure the normal operation of the unit;

  • · Compatibility: adapt to different wind farms and wind resources, can match 2.0mw~6.0mw wind turbines, and can be customized according to user requirements; Provide accurate pitch angle control, with fast response capability; Three cabinets, six cabinets and seven cabinets can be provided to meet the installation size requirements of various types of fan hubs; Provide a variety of Fieldbus protocols for users to choose, such as PROFIBUS-DP, CANopen, DeviceNet, MODBUS, etc.
